Hanabi Live contributors retain all rights to their source. No upstream images, branding, audio, server or network game code is bundled.
This edition is an independent compact implementation of the documented five-suit standard rules. The interface, explicit-knowledge local partner and teaching opening were written for this edition. This is not a full port of Hanabi Live and has no variants, online play or convention bots.
The entire code bundle is GPL-3.0, without warranty. You may convey and modify it under that license; see LICENSE.txt.
Corresponding source is served directly, unminified, at index.html, style.css, engine.mjs and app.mjs. There is no compilation step or additional required source. Serve this directory as a static site; all assets use relative URLs.
Original suit/card-back illustrations generated using the built-in GPT image tool, optimized and bundled locally in lantern-atlas.webp. Illustrations are used on actual cards and progress stacks.
No network calls are made by the game. Optional audio is synthesized in the browser. Saves and records are device-local and gracefully disabled when storage is blocked.
